Mark James played superbly to make the Bucks Open Final but for the third time this year in National events he finished as the runner-up.
The event was played on Sunday 6th August at the Totteridge Club in High Wycombe and was won by Mark Trafford.
Mark had a tough path to the Final but beat Pete Sainsbury, Dave Ingram, Peter Godden, Terry Isard and Joe Oakley in the semi-finals.
The other semi-finalist was Stuart Carruthers who had a good day, including beating Kevin Tunstall in the quarter-finals, before losing to Mark Trafford.
Sussex also had the plate runner-up with Stuart Mepham making the Final.
