Stuart Carruthers made his first semi-final in a National Open when reaching the last four of the Oxford Open at the Berinsfield Club on Saturday 8th February.
Stuart was the furthest advancing Sussex player after beating Dennis Atkins, Ernie Jordan and Colin Winstone before losing to eventual winner Curt Driver.
Matthew Knight and Mark James made the quarter-finals.
