Matthew Knight made his first Open Final at the Kent Open on Sunday 24th March at the Six in One Club in Tonbridge.
Silent played very well to reach the Final beating Max Burt in the quarter-finals and Barry Holt in the semi-finals but was unable to overcome Paul Sainsbury in a close Final.
As well as Barry Holt, Jim Greensted also reached the semi-finals and Rob Hall and Stuart Carruthers made the quarter-finals.
Martin Cole was running-up in the Plate losing to England captain Curt Driver in the Final.
