Brighton won the Inter League One Day Division One which was played on Sunday 1st March at the Burgess Hill Con Club.
It was the third time in a row that Brighton have won this title as they pulled away from the competition in the last two series to beat runners-up Worthing by eight points.
The top three teams were close after three series but in series four Brighton stamped their authority with a 17-4 win against eventual third placed West Sussex. This left them needing ten points from their final series match against Redhill, a total they easily achieved.
Rob Hall topped the player stats gaining 11 points out of the maximum of 12, with Daniel Wheal, Martin Cole, Phil Osborne and Stuart Carruthers all getting 10 points.
On a high scoring day four players averaged over 10k, with Kevin Hall getting the highest average of 11,260 and Martin Cole got the highest leg score of 19,070.
