Billingshurst caused a surprise when they came out on top in a close battle for the Inter League One Day Division Two at the Burgess Hill Con Club on Sunday 25th February.
Following their relegation from Division One last year Tunbridge Wells were expected to make a quick return to the top table but came unstuck against Billingshurst in Series Two when they lost 12-9.
That proved to be crucial as the North Sussex team finished 2.5 points clear of their Kent based opponents.
Lewes finished third by the small matter of 0.5 points from Mid Sussex.
Four players finished with the maximum nine points with Curt Driver topping the lot with an incredible average of 15,798 followed by Pete Sainsbury, Lee Cable and Dick Dewdney. Curt also had the highest score with 20,850.
