Rob Hall won his first individual National title with a superb performance at the Sussex Open on Sunday 2nd June at the Roffey Club in Horsham.
Boball played Simon Coleman in the Final and after the Northants man missed on 2k, Bob played out the rest of the first leg and touched on enough in the second leg.
Martin Cole continued his good form in reaching the semi-finals having beaten Phil Osborne in the quarters.
Local player Dave Howlett, playing in his first Open, also reached the quarter-finals with wins against Pete Sainsbury and Alan Donovan.
The plate also stayed in the county with Daniel Wheal beating Pete Sainsbury in the Final.
