Joe Oakley won the Bucks Open which was played at the Totteridge Club in High Wycombe on Sunday 11th August.
Joe reversed the result of the Bucks Open Final from 2018 in beating Mark Trafford in the Final. Mark failed to fully settle in the first leg but built a 3k lead, however Joe made a slow and steady opening break of 9k in the second leg to take the title.
This was Joe’s first title on the Mainland and his second in total after winning the Guernsey Open previously.
Dave Ingram and Martin Cole both reached the quarter-finals; while Nigel Senior recorded the highest break.
Jean Brackenridge made the Plate win and built a 9k lead but that wasn’t enough to stop Oxford’s Steven Sheard from coming back for the win.
