Martin Smith was the furthest progressing Sussex player at the Oxford Open on Saturday 20th July.
Martin beat Ian Gordon (L64), Andy Burns (L32), James Whittle (L16) and Phil Osborne (QF) on his run to the semi-final where he lost to eventual winner Gerry Fitzjohn.
Bob Osborne was runner-up in the Plate where he lost to local player Melvyn Johnson.
