Congratulations to Matthew Knight who won the Sussex Off The Spot beating Martin Cole Final.
Silent played well all day to win his second Sussex Off The Spot following his success in the 2018 event. It was also his second Sussex title of the year following his win in the Singles earlier in the year. After progressing though the league stage with three wins from four he beat Stuart Carruthers, Chris Cox and Phil Osborne to reach the Final.
Martin was also impressive in reaching the Final and achieved the highest break of the day with an 11,340 in the second leg of his semi-final win over Kevin Tunstall.
After being somewhat unlucky not to qualify from the League stage Alan Brackenridge won the Plate beating Martin Smith in the Final.
Thank you to Stuart Mepham, Tony Jenner, John Slee and Alan and Jean Brackenridge who helped unload the van and set the tables up on Friday. Also to Matthew Knight who helped with the organising of players and scorers on the day.
