The Stags Head C avenged last year’s Final defeat by beating the Prince of Wales in the decider this year.
The Final was played over two legs during the month of August and in a closely fought match the Portslade based outfit won both legs 3-2.
The first leg was played at the Prince of Wales and all legs went with the breaks for Joe Oakley and Barry Holt winning for the hosts and Grant Tully, Kevin Hall and Mark James for the visitors.
The return leg played four weeks later followed a similar pattern with Rob Hall and substitute for the evening Ian Lelliott winning legs for the Stags Head and Joe Oakley and Marin Cole successful for the Prince.
Barry Holt had the break in the last leg and could have forced a play-off leg but was beaten by Mark James to give the hosts the third leg they needed.
Mark James topped the individual rankings by winning five out of five at an average of 9,468.
The Stags Head C will now go on to represent Sussex in the AEBBA Team Championship in October.
