Nine Sussex players were involved as England won the International at the Roffey Club on Saturday 3rd June.
England’s men were playing Guernsey in a 12-a-side match and Dave Ingram, Joe Oakley, Martin Cole, Martin Smith, Matthew Knight, Nigel Senior and Phil Osborne were involved as the hosts won 58-8.
England’s ladies were also playing at the same time against a Channel Islands select team. Jean Brackenridge and Michelle Baden played as England won 27-6.
