Stuart Mepham won his second major Sussex title with victory in the Sussex Masters on Saturday 3rd June at the Roffey Club.
Chocie, who had previously won the Sussex Off The Spot, beat Brighton league teammate Bob Hall in a final where both players struggles to fully settle.
Stuart was somewhat fortunate to win his Group with all players finishing on 1.5 points each, but his aggregate score saw him into the quarter-finals by only 280 points. He then progressed past Stuart Carruthers and Dave Ingram in make the Final.
The Plate was won by Mark James who beat Tony Jenner in the Final.
